My first anniversary with him... and also my first post in this post.. going to make it a memorable one... and this anniversary card is the first pop-up card which I ever used so much time and hardwork to complete it.. now I'm going to share with you all..
.jpg)
the heart shape is cut out from a felt cloth and pink thread is chosen to sew the edge
the paper behind the heart is folded to a few layers to give it a bit design there
Here comes the inside of the card
normal plain sky blue paper
I cut the edge by using the craft scissors
then 2 vertical lines are cut in there
(before this, the paper is folded into half, then the lines are measured)
let say we going to cut a 2cm line, then the folded horizontal line act as center point
1cm is above the folded line n 1 cm is below the folded line

I draw the mountain on another piece of paper
then stick on the blue paper
p/s: a slot at the bottom of the mountain is cut off

color, cut, and stick on that folded part
(from the front view, there are like 2 layers, the mountain behind n the bushes in front)
.jpg)
then stick that on the bushes
and also stick on the bottom blue paper
.jpg)
So small rectangular is draw n cut the 3 edges ( as shown in the pic above)
I cut the grass from 2 different green color paper
then stick on the small rectangular of the blue paper
.jpg)
and I stick the blue paper on a piece of pink paper
p/s: the blue paper before this is measured to be cut in smaller size
Then together with the blue paper, pink paper is stick on the card

Ta Dah!!!
Here is my pop-up card 100% purely handmade ^^
I know is a bit childish... but castle is related to fairy tales
and fairy tales is just so wonderful and colourful
anyway, life is full with colours right?

So, to conclude, there are 2 ways to make the pop-up card
1st: cut 2 vertical lines on a piece of paper, then fold it out
2nd: make 1 or 2 square stripes of paper
(the size of that got to depend on the size of our object)
Try it out yourself
who knows maybe you can make a better one than me
