21st Birthday

Well, after being 'away' for so long...
here I am again
finally I decided to blog about this card
my previous handmade card for one of my friends


A gray color card is chosen for her because that's her style^^
The card is folded twice into 3 parts
another light gray card is glued underneath

The happy birthday words and those pictures on the right side are draw on another piece of paper
then it is cut n glue one by one

When open up the cover, chinese word of happy birthday is under there
If you notice clearly, I even draw some pattern on the edge of each words to make it nicer and colorful since the color of the card already so dull

Finally the inside of it
as you all know I'm not really good in words
so just made it into simple
cut and paste a few pieces of paper

That's it!
sounds easy? I don't think so...
It was quite tough to cut those small piece of wordings on the cover
and especially the 3 circles
I cut those just with a normal scissors, not some tools to cut a perfect circle
so maybe it looks a bit cacat if you really look closely

I enjoyed the process of making cards and also receiving handmade cards
although is just a card but I appreciate the effort ^^ *hint =P*
